Orbisens ATM Application Topology
Remote Security, Energy, and Environmental Monitoring
This topology illustrates how the Orbisens Smart Environmental and Security System operates within ATM kiosks and remote banking units, ensuring uninterrupted power, safety, and environmental stability.
The Orbisens control unit continuously monitors temperature, humidity, CO₂ (PPM), PM2.5, and air pressure through internal sensors, while external sensors detect water leaks, motion, and limit switch activity.
All sensor data is collected and analyzed via Modbus RTU or TCP/IP communication.
The system integrates seamlessly with Smart Climate Control, Alarm Panels, and Lighting & Signage Management:
- When temperature or CO₂ exceeds a predefined limit, the HVAC system automatically activates.
- When a water leak is detected, the alarm is triggered, and the affected zone is isolated.
- In case of a power outage, the system automatically switches to backup power using the BatSens module, UPS, and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS).
Orbisens ATM Solution ensures 24/7 monitoring, safe power transition, and full environmental supervision for ATM units.
The architecture is managed centrally through the PULAS 360 + AtmOs (ATM Operation Systems) platform, allowing each ATM to transmit its environmental data, power status, and security alerts in real time.
The Zone-based design (Safe Zone, Fire Zone, Water Leak Zone, Motion Zone) enables automated, event-driven actions for each defined area.
All devices communicate over a router/switch network, creating a secure and resilient monitoring infrastructure resistant to communication interruptions.
By integrating intelligent monitoring, power redundancy, and automation, Orbisens ATM System provides financial institutions with reduced maintenance costs, enhanced security, energy efficiency, and remote management convenience.
