Orbisens Greenhouse Application Topology

Smart Agriculture and Environmental Monitoring Systems

This topology demonstrates how the Orbisens system operates within greenhouses and agricultural production environments, maintaining ideal conditions for plant growth through intelligent sensing and automated control.

The Orbisens control unit continuously collects data from internal sensors (temperature, CO₂, PM2.5, air pressure) and external sensors (humidity, soil moisture, water leak, motion, and limit switches). Using Modbus RTU or TCP/IP communication, it analyzes the data and executes predefined automation scenarios.

For example:

  • When temperature rises, the ventilation or cooling system activates automatically.
  • When humidity drops, irrigation or humidification systems are triggered.
  • In case of flooding or excessive moisture, the alarm system engages and related valves shut off.

Zone-based architecture (Safe Zone, Fire Zone, Water Leak Zone, Motion Zone) allows independent control for each area.
The BatSens module ensures continuous operation and data logging even during power outages.

Through integration with Smart Climate Control, Irrigation Management, and Rest System Control, the system optimizes both energy efficiency and crop health.
All components are centrally monitored and managed through the PULAS 360 + SfOs (Smart Farm / Greenhouse Operation System) platform.

By combining environmental sensing with automation, Orbisens minimizes human intervention, optimizes resource usage, and creates a sustainable, high-efficiency agricultural environment.
