Orbisens Supermarket Application Topology

Intelligent Environmental Monitoring and Automation Integration

This topology illustrates how the Orbisens system operates within supermarket and retail environments, connecting sensors, automation devices, and network components under one integrated control structure.

The Orbisens control unit collects data from both internal sensors (temperature, air pressure, PM2.5, CO₂) and external sensors (humidity, water leak, motion, fire, and limit switches).
Through Modbus or TCP/IP communication, this data is analyzed and categorized into specific zones such as Safe Zone, Fire Zone, Water Leak Zone, and Motion Zone.

Depending on the defined thresholds, automated responses are triggered:

  • When a water leak is detected, the alarm system activates, and the affected zone is automatically isolated.
  • If CO₂ or temperature levels rise, the HVAC system is automatically adjusted for ventilation and cooling.
  • For energy management, the system centrally controls astronomical lighting, digital signage, air conditioning, and IT systems.

All devices and sensors are interconnected through a router/switch network, ensuring stable communication and continuous operation.
With integrated power management modules (750 W / 220 V) and BatSens backup units, Orbisens ensures uninterrupted 24/7 functionality without data loss.

This topology demonstrates that Orbisens is more than a monitoring system — it is an intelligent automation platform that transforms environmental data into actionable decisions.
With Supermarket Operation Systems (SmOs + PULAS 360) integration, the system provides full control over lighting, cooling, safety, and energy efficiency — all from a single interface.
